"I ran my own tour company as well as developed omnichannel marketing campaigns for global organizations," Kim mentions. Now, she's here to help other experience providers drive profitable growth by connecting to the right traveler, at the right time, and to the right experience.

It's so hard to narrow down but will list my favorite by continent:

  • North America: Lake Louise, Alberta Canada
  • South America: Bariloche, Argentina 
  • Europe: Hvar, Croatia 
  • Asia: Da Nang Vietnam 
  • Australia: Hayman Island
  • Antarctica: TBD  

What's a favorite memory of a tour experience?

Trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, followed by cage diving with great whites in Hermanus, a seaside town in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. 

What is it about working in the travel industry that you love the most? 

I love knowing that I am enriching people’s lives and connecting the world in a meaningful way.

What motivates you to stay in the travel industry? 

Traveling is my passion so leaving is not an option. 

What’s been a big learning moment in your career? 

Launching my own walking tour company and learning all of the complexities of both operating the business and finding the right customer at the right time.    

What’s one of your proudest accomplishments in your career? 

When my tour company received the first full-fare direct booking through organic search.  

How do you see travel changing over time? What’s exciting about these potential changes?

Travelers wanting bespoke experiences that are easily accessible and on demand. That’s what makes working at TourismSolved so exciting. I get to help tour and activity providers be on the forefront of this change and make sure their experiences are accessible at each point of the customer journey. 

When you’re not working, where can we find you? 

Doing my best to try to raise two decent human beings. When I get a break from that you can find me roaming around California wine country.
